Solihull Virtual Ward North Adopts Telehealth

A managed Telehealth service has saved three hospital admissions in six weeks as part of a pilot in Solihull, while supporting the discharge of patients from a virtual ward. Air Products has four proof of concept trials in England for its managed telehealth service in partnership with Docobo Ltd, one of the UK’s leading Telehealth companies. Two are in Solihull, one of which involves patients in a virtual ward. The other two are in Worcester and Birmingham.

Docobo Telehealth Collaborative 2012 - Agenda and Presentations

Docobo hosted a well attended user group event covering current topics including 3 Million Lives, the effect of NHS reorganisation on telehealth service delivery; use of Risk Stratification for patient selection; and new service delivery models as programmes continue to grow. Attendees heard from a variety of speakers from Docobo, the NHS, private sector and the DH and had the opportunity network with other nationwide users and to see Docobo’s new range of technology coming to the market.

Docobo has met with one of the leading hospitals in Brazil to exchange ideas and discuss potential partnerships. The visit, which was organised by UK Trade & Investment, saw 10 companies from the UK Pavilion at this year´s Hospitalar exhibition tour the outstanding facilities at Hospital Sirio Libanes in Sao Paolo.

Outstanding Achievement award to UK Telehealth Pioneer

Adrian Flowerday, Managing Director of Docobo Ltd, has been awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award by Intellect in recognition of his work as chairman of the Telehealth group. The Telehealth group was formed in 2006, and has steadily grown in size and reach, and now attracts all the key players involved in the UK health IT industry. Docobo Launches Community Management Solution to Support the QIPP Agenda

Docobo Ltd, UK has signed an exclusive distributor agreement with Western Australia based Home Care organisation Silver Chain. The agreement enables Docobo to market Silver Chain’s enterprise wide Community Care Client Management System, known as ComCare. ComCare offers a unique staff and patient management solution that both enables community wide case co-ordination and use of Smart phones to support and manage community based staff.
